The second assignment we did in this class was about Liberal Arts and why they were important. We were given two articles to read and answer a lot of homework’s on. We then wrote a 1600 word essay on the two articles. The two articles we read told the important skills that were taught in a Liberal Arts school. Honestly this assignment opened my eyes because I really did not think anything of going to a ‘Liberal Arts’ school, I just chose the University of New England because I liked it. I guess I should have paid more attention but I really thought that this assignment and the readings were interesting because it was like a wake up call to me, and kind of made me feel stupid for not realizing the benefits before.
