Learning Outcome 6: Individualized Error
My grammar was not bad in my first draft but my organization and integrating my ideas into the paper was definitely improved by my last draft. I expanded my sentences into compound and complex sentences. I had a lot of repetition and run on sentences in my first draft and I really worked on that and improved it. I also had to make sure I reread my papers before I turned them in. My first draft was very repetitive and the sentences were boring and short but by my last draft they were longer more in depth. My ideas were formed and organized better and the paper was just overall improved because of the small things like organization and sentence structure. Also being able to proof read and peer edit others papers made me stop and think of my paper and this caused me to go back and check my paper again. I did not really struggle with citing my sources in my paper, but my works cited page needed work before it was complete. I think I really improved in these areas that I really struggled with.
