Homework for November 18

I’ve decided to redo my paper because it was not working out how I wanted it to. These are from my original draft.

Part One:

Original:

Boyer’s idea of an enriched major is involved in many different majors. Specifically in the elementary education major it is seen especially in the history behind the major. Boyer’s three questions are “What is the history and tradition of the field to be examined? What are the social and economic implications to be understood? What are the ethical and moral issues to be confronted?” The first question is asking about the origins of the major and how it came to be one. The second question is asking how does it help you communicate with others, and why is it important for society. The last one is asking if it matters, what is moral, is it okay to lie in situations, when is it okay to lie, what is not okay to lie about, etc.. The education major can answer all of these questions. Education majors graduate to become teachers and they influence – social implications- so many children who will end up becoming the ‘new’ history of the major. The history of the education major is taught throughout many different classes like the foundations of literary development and instruction, and literacy research based instructional methods. The ethical and moral issues are answered and taught in different classes also like the diversity in schools.
