Look at this picture and write for 10 minutes.

When I look at this picture I think of the ocean. I live near the ocean and it’s so pretty – just like this picture. But if you look more carefully you can see the plastic in the water. The ocean is full of plastic and pollution and living near the beach all you find is trash on the beach or near it.  This picture honestly looks like one of the posters posted along the beach saying “pick up your trash.” I know plastic is really bad for the environment but these posters don’t really do much or make anyone really think about cleaning the beach. They need to find something more moving. The beach near my house actually just got rid of trash cans because they want to be a “carry in, carry out” beach, but honestly I think that’ll just make the trash issue worse. People are lazy, or go to the beach to drink and relax and the last thing on their mind is going to be ‘keep track of the trash so we can take it home.’ Having trash cans is useful because they were right there, all you had to do was walk anywhere on the beach and you easily could have walked by one.
